What?
Bird Noise is a mediation of birds. Beginning with a whimsical introduction about a bird stealing a pizza written by horror writer Anders Fager. The tone is radically different then what would be a precedent of bird related photo books in Fukase’s.
Why?

“This 32-page magazine is an intense visual experience depicting the lives of birds in the big city. It explores themes of detachment, meaninglessness, survival, endurance, and hopelessness. Dark, large, grainy black-and-white images on uncoated paper capture their struggle for survival with raw realism.”

Nightlocross 2023, Partycross 2023, & BMX Support Night by Ermanno Fissore
Who?
Ermanno Fissore is a British photographer. From his about me on his website:
“Inspired by underground culture, city scenes, and everyday moments, I crafted a distinctive perspective. My photos merge these influences, capturing scenes that seem timeless and universal. Through my lens, I mix the urban melting pot, where different cultures intersect and coexist, reflecting the dynamic complexity of city life.”
What?
Included here are three different zines: Nightlocross 2023, Partycross 2023, & BMX Support Night. All three revolve around bicycles. BMX Support Night documents London’s House of Vans between 2019 and 2020. While Partycross was a tracklocross party and race in the West London woods during the first weekends of 2023. Finally, Nightlocross was a race and bike games in SW London woods starting at 7PM and ending at dawn.
Why?
Why not document these bike related events? Here at JCH we are really into bikes, so cool to see a blending of our favorite genres…and the photography is really good!
