As I offer a number of different services, there are a number of different returns policies. I work very hard to make sure that all of my customers are satisfied.
For items I sell through my store/current sale items pages I offer the following:
A 14 day conditional return policy
Customer service and satisfaction are very important to us. We have a conditional return policy, if notified within 14 of the receipt of the item.
The customer is responsible for the return postage. All returned items must be the original condition as sold. All return requests must be made within 14 days of the receipt of the item. Please contact us first for return before you ship it back to us. We will offer a refund upon the receipt of the item having the conditions been met. Please note due to changes in Paypal/Stripe conditions the Paypal/Stripe fee will not be refunded as we are now charged for this.
This policy also stands for order cancellations. We will not be refunding the banking/charge fees in the result of a customer cancelling the order.
Please note, we are not Amazon etc, we do not have a no quibble return policy for sourced items. If the items are defective they are covered by the return policy. But if you change your mind and decide you don’t want the items after being purchased then the sourcing fee will not be refundable.
3 or 6 Month Guarantee
Certain items will come with guarantees, it will be stated with the item. All new items in the shop come with a 6 month guarantee. Cameras for sale will have the guarantee (if one is available) stated.
The item would need to be send to us for repair and once repair has been completed it will be returned to you.
The postage for sending will be the responsibility of the buyer. If we can arrange a local repair at a suitable service centre this can also be done and the costs for repair will be met (this would depend on certain conditions).
Only repairs that have caused the fault will be repaired. For a full CLA that would be additional costs that we would not bear.
Issues caused by poor treatment of the camera such as dropping, self repair, water damage, theft or natural disasters cannot be covered by the guarantee.
I strive to make sure that all cameras I sell do not have defects or problems. But sometimes issues can manifest themselves in unanticipated ways.
If the item has an initial malfunction, I will give a full refund including return shipping. If the item can be repaired I will also offer that option free of charge. The customer must declare within 7 days after receiving the item for the initial defects.
Please check the item as soon as possible after you have received the item.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. I can make arrangements for assistance and advice on this matter.
