IN YOUR BAG 1759 – Hugo Fernando Muñoz Cornejo

Hugo shares his bag with us this week. And a very nice bag it is too. Check his out and share yours with us too! We are always looking for submissions.

Hello!

Hello! I’ve been following your “in your bag” section for a long time (years), and I’ve been encouraged several times to send a configuration of my equipment to go out and take photos (constantly changing), but this is a “more definitive” version of how I’ve been doing photography (at least this 2023).

The Bag

To start, and what gives this section its name, is a Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L v2 bag. It is just the right size to take and go out to take photos, carrying just what is necessary. It is comfortable, compact, safe (well padded) and very low profile. I’ve had it for over 2 years and use it every time I go out.

The cameras

Here is a bit of heresy for some, or a perfect combination for others:

– Leica M6 + Elmarit 28mm asph v1 + BW UV Filter
– Fuji XPro 3 + Fuji 35mm 1.4. + UV filter

28mm and 50mm are the focal lengths I use the most. I have a couple of camera/lens combos that I use frequently as well (over the years I’ve accumulated a couple), maybe I’ll give you another gear presentation later.

As I was saying, I use different camera and lens configurations depending on where I am (city, weekend trip, summer vacation, day, night, etc.). Sometimes only film, other times only digital. And if it is a long destination, both.

Accessories:

– Leather case (according to eBay) for Leica M
– Leather strap (according to eBay)
– Peak Design Leash
– Kodak 400 Ultramax and Fomapan 200. I always leave with 2 rolls, one in color and the other in black and white.
– B+W Yellow filter.
– 2 Backup Lr44 Batteries.
– 2 backup SD cards (in the camera I have 2 SD of 64BG).
– 2 batteries for Fuji NPW126S alternatives.
– Lightning adapter to SD cards.
– Charger and cable for iPhone and USB-C
– A piece of film for when the film is completely rolled up on the chassis.
– A microfiber cloth
– 2 sets of silica gel.

That would be. A little tight but everything fits.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com

Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (Instagram, Twitter, Flickr, Grainery et al). Send the bag shots here. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, you are a photographer after all.

Cheers
