In your bag No: 1492 – Steven Mills
Steven comes to the site with a very strong bag, which has really seen some places. Check it out.
Here is my “In Your Bag” shot.
This is my typical kit when I travel. The bag is actually the newest item to my kit, it is a WANDRD PRVKE 31. It holds all my gear perfectly and comfortably. Most of my recent work has been done traveling for a non-profit that has taken me to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and the Bronx, New York.
Shooting both analog and digital for non-profits and mostly analog for personal work.
My interest in photography started while in a photography class in high school, but didn’t really start getting into till college. I started out shooting digital until I discovered my love for shooting 35mm on an old Canon FTQL with 50mm f/1.4 lens. I shot with that camera for a few years until I found medium format and now that is my favorite medium to shoot on.
This photo shows my main items and most important for anytime I travel, starting left to right – Birdsong Brewery hat, bible, glasses, Burts Bess, watch, wide and telephoto Moment Lenses, assortment of 120mm film, Patagonia Nano Puff jacket, Japan Camera Hunter 35mm film case filled with 35mm film, Canon AF35M, Fujifilm XT-1 with battery grip and 35mm f/1.4 lens, Mamiya 7 with 80mm f/4 lens with Tap & Dye strap, passport, wallet, micron pen, moleskin, MacBook Pro, and the WANDRD PRVKE 31 bag.
Thanks for sharing your bag with us, Steven. I am envious of your travels, I hope you got a lifetime of good shots.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com
Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
