In your bag No: 688, Travis Huggett
Travis gives us a peek inside his bag today. Which means we get to have a look at what a fashion photographer shoots. Is that advil is see…
I was organizing my bag for a shoot tomorrow, and I thought of your In Your Bag feature.
My name is Travis Huggett. I am a portrait and fashion photographer in New York City. I shoot a mixture of commercial work and personal art work.
For my commercial work I typically shoot with a 5dMII. When possible, and for personal work I shoot with a Mamiya 7.
I always have a moleskin for notes. When shooting on the road I like to get a tourism map that I can sit with and mark up in a way I can’t with Google maps. I always have a car battery charger, a lesson I learned the hard way. I like to travel with a roll of gaffers and Gerber pocket knife, that I periodically donate to airport security.
You can see my work here: www.travishuggett.com
My tumblr here: http://guttercredit.tumblr.com/
And my Twitter here: https://twitter.com/travishuggett
Thanks so much. Love the site!
Travis
Thanks for sharing your bag with us Travis. I hear you on the maps. I did the same thing the last time I was in the UK, it was a great feeling.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

What’s the box in the bottom left hand corner?
That is the car charger for the 5dMII battery. I haven’t had to use it yet.
