In your bag No: 1620 – Yong Seng
Yong quit his job and bought a Leica, a couple things I’m sure many of us want to do.
Hello there, my name is Yong Seng. I’m from Malaysia. I was born in early 90s. I’m interested in street photography, portraiture and landscape. I would tend to shoot more when I’m traveling abroad. Here are my handy camera bag, Black Leica M3 (repainted), Klasse W, Lomo LC-Wide as well as 3 rolls film holder from Zaid.
I got hooked on analogue photography during my university days. My first camera was Holga 135. It is more like a surprise camera rather than a workhorse. So, I got my first workhorse, Lomo LC-Wide. I used LC-Wide to record my uni days road trip.
After working for 1 and half years, I decided to quit the stressful job and life as a real estate agent. So, I bought a Leica film camera and start to travel more frequently. And shoot what I’m liked. And I never feel regret ever since. Surprisingly, after I got Leica my GAS syndrome recovered quite a bit (not fully of course). Sometimes, when curiosity meets super deal is hard to resist.
My everyday camera is Klasse W. It is point and shoot from Fujifilm. It has super accurate metering. Besides, Fuji made good lens, the photo appear sharp, usually with “3D pop”. Such a viewing pleasure.
Lately, small bag would be my choice for 3 reasons.
1. Looks good on small to average body size.
2. Bring less.
3. Shoot more.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks for sending us your bag shot Yong. Bring less and shoot more, great words to live by.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com
Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

curious what Yong does to afford traveling and shooting after quitting his job.
Rangefinder + Klasse W is pretty much my ideal bag though. Gotta love that combo.
Yeah. Would that I could quit my terrible job and travel with my Leica.
Hi Yong, what bag is this? And how well has it stood up to everyday wear and tear?
@Mat C The bag looks like a SIRUI My Story bag. I have a SURUI tripod and dry box and both have been going strong for 3 years. YMMV.
