In your bag No: 1337, Jason Ly
Jason has a great bag, and a great reason for having it featured too. A very simple bag and a classic film case, the one that inspired me to start making them. Cool stuff. Check it out.
I always thought of submitting my bag to this but never really got around to it.
My bag is pretty minimal, on weekdays it contains all my work related things and more importantly my camera and some film. On weekends it’s just mainly my camera, water, and food.
BAG:
I’ve gone though a lot of bags, but my current combination is an Artisan & Artist Lunch Bag and an Outlier Ultrahigh backpack. The backpack is insanely light and comfortable for long hikes and fits my needs perfectly. The Artisan & Artist Lunch Bag allows me to keep my camera with me at all times and stay modular, be it work or leisure.
GEAR:
Leica M7 – While it may be one of the bigger Leica M cameras, it’s no comparison to carrying around a medium format camera on long hikes. When I switched over I felt like I could walk for miles.
Leica 28mm Elmarit 2.8 – Been shooting 28mm for years and it’s tough to switch around. I’ve been trying to challenge myself to shoot nature in black and white, but it can be difficult.
Fujifilm Egg Case – I purchased this from Bellamy a few years back before they were discontinued. It’s one of my favorite things! Currently filled with Ilford HP5 and occasionally with Portra 400.

Thanks man!
Jason
P.S. Truthfully speaking I’m submitting this because I want to get one of those asilda featured on JCH pins hahaha!
Thanks for the bag shot, Jason. Haha, that is a very good reason to have your bag featured. Those pins are awesome.
Check out the links and please make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com.
Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

We have the same leica setupü m7 with elmarit 28. Great for street and fast snaps.
Nice to see someone with a Leica M7 – and owning up to it! I use one as my daily shooter too, but with a 50mm on it.
Whoa! I was wondering why I got an influx of instagram followers and likes. Hahah! Thanks for posting this man! Also on #1337 too! HAHA! Leet!
Yeah it’s awesome!
