In your bag No: 1285, Kemal
Kemal is really eager, as he was featured only 100 bags ago. But this time he is back with his gorgeous Minolta stuffed inside a new bag. Check this one out.
Hi Friends,
I already shared a bag of mine a while ago. But it was more like a transportation bag and nothing you would grab and take with you on the streets. But since I am going to ireland with my girlfriend tomorrow, I looked around for a shoulder bag. All the big brands where out of my financial reach as a college student so I needed an alternative and stumbled upon the gasmask bag of the finish army by accident.
It cost me 16€. It’s never been used and came with the still sealed gasmask (we lucky bustards). I sold the gasmask for 10€ and kept the bag. :)
It has one big main compartment and four little additional compartments. I find it ideal for all the stuff I would need on a day in the streets of an european city. The fabric seems very solid but isn’t padded – so you need to think about something. I just got myself a piece of foam.

The bag can hold my Minolta XD7 with a Rokkor-PG 50 1.4, an Olympus Mju II and all this other stuff:
spare roll of Ilford HP+
vintage filmcanister (filled with small “survival” items)
some kind of sharpie (I carry a fisher space pen as EDC)
victorinox knife sharpener (I carry a Vic as EDC)
lens pen
niteize gear ties
minolta cable release
olympus remote control
agfa agfalux c flashcube flash (its small and fun to use)
three extra sylvania flashcubes NIB
two travel cups (for coffee or wine with my girlfriend)
bunch of business cards (I don’t have a business, it’s just my mobile/email/website)
minolta yellow filter
moorehead drinking bottle (stay hidrated)
handkerchiefs
disinfectend tissues
For a more in depth look at the bag you can check out the web on this gasmask bag of the finish army – there are alot of reviews about it. If you have the time, you can easily make it waterproof as well!

Thanks for sharing your bag with us again, Kemal. Funnily enough, this is not the first gasmask bag we have had on the site.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com.
Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

The XD7 is one of my favourite cameras of all time. Hugely underrated. You don’t see enough of them around.
Great site too. Nice work.
I love the Minolta XD7 it´s such a cute Camera.
I’ve got that exact bag. Picked it up in an Army Surplus store in New Zealand. I’d love to see how you pad the inside.
Xd7 is a great camera. I love it.
For anyone interested: I just uploaded a short review of my finish gasmask bag. And you can see the padding. You can have a look at it here: http://webersohn.de/blog/
