Japan Camera Hunter News
First of all, Happy 2013 to each and every one of my readers and followers, without you none of this could have been possible. Here is a quick little news roundup for you.

2013 is going to be a busy year for JCH. Big plans are afoot and there are all sorts of wonderful things on the way. I hope that you will all join me and share my passion.
First of all though, important site news:
I will be taking a well earned break from Jan 1st 2013 to Jan 10th 2013. I will still post on the site and I will reply to urgent mails. But I will not be shipping anything and I will not be hunting. I work all the hours known to man and I make sure that I am always available for you all, so I think I have earned myself a bit of R&R. Please be patient with me if you have a request or an order, I have not forgotten and I will handle it all upon my return.

Film cases
The response to these has been overwhelming, far more than I ever anticipated. Thanks for all of your love and support. I have nearly sold out of the white cases now. I will be making more of these to cover demand. Look out for black cases and maybe even a special limited colour case this year.

The 120 cases are coming! We are working on the final models at the moment. They are going to be very interesting and I think you will love them.
There is also a new case design in the pipeline, a special design that I am sure you will all love. Details will be up when they are ready.
If you have ordered cases during this holiday period please be patient, I am unable to ship until I return. I will ship immediately upon my return.

In Your Bag
The In Your Bag series continues to grow and grow. It has gone far beyond anything I ever imagined it would be. I will not stop until there are no bags left to show. If you send me a bag I will do my best to show it, but you have to help me. Please make sure that the picture is landcape otherwise I cannot use it. Please make sure it is in focus, sharp, bright and generally of good standard. I don’t have time to edit your pictures and if the picture is not suitable I cannot feature your bag.
Make sure the description is detailed, tell people everything you want them to know about you, your bag and your work. Share links, and share your work. Don’t be shy, the more info the better.
But most of all, have fun. In your bag is about sharing and having fun.

There are going to be some big developments in the coming year and I am very excited to share all of them with you.
Thanks for viewing, thanks for sharing and thanks for being part of the JCH community.

Happy New Year

With ilford moving production of film canisters in-house and new formats of film cases coming up, 2013 is going to be a great year for film. Nothing beats the feel of film. Nothing beats owning a film camera with a photographic history of your own. Long Live Film. Long Live Analog.
