In your bag number 97, Herdeh Herqury
Well well well, it have been a very long time. I am so sorry for the delay, technical issues put the site out of commission for a while. But we are back and stronger than ever. To get the ball rolling we have a new in your bag feature. This one comes from the youngest photographer we have ever featured, only 16 years old!
My name is Herdeh Herqury aka Herdy Herqury
I’m a 16 year-old Freelance Photographer in Singapore, and mostly shoot films.
In a week, I shoot about at least 6-7 rolls of film, as I love shooting street.
(P.S, I think I should get one of those Bukkari film cases lol)
I intend to study Photography after Secondary School (High School)
I started Photography about 2 years ago, and after about a year, I got bored of shooting digital, until I found out about Mijonju!
I don’t know if it’s me, but shooting film has a whole different feeling than shooting digital. It makes me think more about the settings, than just putting my DSLR in AV mode Or P mode. Btw my first roll of film that I shot only had a number of correctly exposed shots lol. Oh yeah my first film camera was a plastic fantastic Holga lol.
Enough talking, here’s what’s in my bag.
-Donna pure leather messenger bag
Got this bag from my Uncle who introduced me Photography, and btw the bag is older than me lol
My second camera if I run out of films lol
got this as a birthday present and mainly use this during family events
-Canon A-1 with 35-70mm f3.5
THE BEST CAMERA EVER for beginners and I guess during its time it was like the Canon 7D now lol
-Olympus Zuiko 14-42 Kit Lens
-Olympus Zuiko 40-150mm
Basic lenses that I use
-Canon 50mm f1.8 (with m43 adapter)
Mainly for Potraits as if I mount this on my EPL-1 it becomes a 100mm f1.8
-Sigma 70-300mm f4 (without m43 adapter)
For shooting the moon as if mounted on my EPL1 it becomes a 140-600mm lol
-Fuji Superior X-TRA
-3 rolls of expired Konica Centuria
-1 roll of Ilford BnW 400
-3 rolls of Kodak Gold
-Ipod Touch (in the bag)
So there you have it, a compact bag for street shooting. Photo shot with a Canon 1000D with a 18-135mm. Thanks Bellamy! (Hope you can donate one of those Bukkari cases to me lol jk)
