Forgot how I came to Michael’s work, but his simple caption on his Instagram, ‘I love irony.” was memorable after going through his stream and should be applicable to the viewer of this visual interview. From his response to question 5 that uses a conch seashell that comes off as a Lovecraft creature to his Josephson-esque response to question 6 featuring a polaroid of his family amongst the sea the sentiment is felt. I particularly enjoyed the ambiguity of his response to question 1. For more check the links below:
