In your bag No: 1600 – Samuel Barney

Samuel Barney show us his dream camera for a bit of a milestone post, number 1600! This is a fantastic world travelers bag.

Hey, my name is Samuel Barney. I’m from Queensland, Australia. I’m 29 years old and photography has been a hobby of mine for the last 13 years.

In this time I’ve collected, purchased and sold a lot of gear. Last year I purchased one of my dream cameras, a Leica M6. I left Australia to see the world at the beginning of 2018, so my daily carry reflects that.

I chose to purchase a Leica because I wanted quality, something inconspicuous and easy to carry day to day throughout my travels. I had also never used a rangefinder before, so learning something new was nice.

– The bag itself is a 20L Osprey day pack that accompanies my 50L bag.

– Leica M6 with a 35mm summicron asph.

– Notebook & Passport.

– Bad habits (cigarettes).

– Marshall on ear headphones.

– Macbook Pro.

– Sunglasses & some spare rolls.

I’ve set up an Instagram to document my travels https://www.instagram.com/unchiencult/

Cheers,

Samuel Barney.

Thanks for sending us your bag shot, Samuel. The similarity to my bag contents are uncanny (yeah, bad habits die hard, eh?)

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com

Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.

Cheers
