In your bag No: 1496 – Emil Raji
Emil is back with another bag. This time a bit more simple. All black everything. Check it out.
What’s In My Bag
It’s been a year since my last bag, a lot of cameras and countless rolls since I’ve come to this setup. Shot some digital too for a bit. Even a switch in cities. I lived in Perth for 5 years, but now I’m in Melbourne (holler up to all you Melbourne people hmu). I shoot street and my day to day mostly so this bag primarily serves that purpose, pretty simple tbh.
Anyway from left to right here’s what I’ve got:
-There’s my banged up iPhone 6s plus (honestly it’s too big, wish I bought a 5 SE now)
-An 8 $ flash I found at the APSC camera market in box hill, has a cable works on the leica. All I need really. It’s a K-Mart (lol) Focal M500C-Zoom if you must know(so it variable for 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85), I keep it at 35mm.
-Brolly (umbrella, coz it’s Melbourne. Bought from the upmarket people at Daiso)
-5 rolls of bulk loaded hp5 (i use the ultramax 400 cannisters coz I never buy that film as not to cause confusion). I shoot hp5 over trix coz it’s cheaper that’s it. If anyone has developing stuff in Melbourne could you help me dev some rolls I’ve got over 10 rolls to develop.
-My Leica M2 with the 35mm f2.8 Zeiss c biogon (my only lens and camera). Switched from my Voigtlander Bessa R and the 35mm Color Skopar which I shot for a year and also shot with a digital Ricoh GR for a bit. I thought I lost this Leica for a while but then it came back miraculously.
-My old macbook air 4 years strong, obligatory Hillvale sticker and also Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
-And probably my favourite thing of all is the Thinktank Perception Pro being my camera bag. Though I actually rarely use it as a camera bag, I prefer to shoot without a bag on my back. It’s more of daily use thing, tbh I bought it because of the Eric Kim recommendation 🤔 i know i know. But it’s great, couldn’t be happier with a bag. Makes me look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle but whatever it’s comfy.
That’s it folks.

Thanks for coming back to us, Emil. Good to see you back with a lovely simple set.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com
Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
