In your bag 1039, Carles Mitjà
Todays bag looks more like a product shot for a large fruity computer company. But it is in fact Carles’ bag. Check it out.
I’m currently retired. I have hold a position as a teacher and researcher in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in the area of Image Quality measurement. I’m a photographer too.
My interest is centered in landscape, both natural and urban. Now a days, I’m trying to practice photoengraving by means of photopolymer film and copper plates.
A sample of my images and my thoughts can be seen at www.carlesmitja.com where, beside other aspects of photography, I maintain a section called Pic Of The Week (http://carlesmitja.net/category/pic-of-the-week/). This section incorporates each monday a new image taken during the past week.
Although I use many more photographic gear, my every day bag carries only a Fujifilm X100 camera equipped with the Fujinon Wide Conversion Lens. An iPhone4 and an iPad2 completes the stuff. Many thanks to every body for share the personal preferences filling the bag.

Thanks for sharing your bag and you thoughts with us Carles. I am very interested by the photoengraving. Very cool.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal, 720px across is optimal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

as a former UPC (ETSETB) student it’s nice to see some more Catalan presence here in JCH!
