In your bag 723, Daniel Braun
Oh man, I like this one. This is almost exactly the sort of bag I could be seen carrying when walking around Tokyo. Except this one is in Finland.
My name is Daniel Braun and i live in Kotka, small town on eastern Finland. I’m amateur photographer who love street photography. I also do event photography and some macro. I bought my first ”real” camera about six years ago. Now i have Canon full frame dslr whit some nice L-series lenses but my secret love is my Leica M4P & Fuji X100. With Leica i shot black and white only. Fuji is lovely small rangefinder style camera but i maybe want upgrade that on Leica M9.
This is my street setup:
Domke f5xb
Fuji X100
Leica M4P & Summicron-C 40mm
Some nice films
Spare batteries and memory card
You can look my work on my blog http://www.mielenmaisemaa.blogspot.fi
Sorry about that language, Finnish only.
Thanks for sharing the bag with us Daniel. This is a perfect daily set up.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

Nice bag Daniel! If I’ll buy Leica some day, M4 and 40mm will sure be my way to go too!
Great bag, Daniel. I have the Leica M4-P and the 40mm summicron C, too. It was all I could afford – but I think it’s a great lens. It gives nicer results than my Nikon F3 with 50mm Nikkor.
I love that bag! Simple and minimalistic.
Great.
Great bag! I think I am going to replicate it!
Hi
About two week after i sent this picture i bought M9.
It’s amazing!
I wonder how you decide which one to shoot or both, since you clearly are going for a very specific field of view in the 35mm area. The x100s is an amazing tool, isn’t it, for those situations where carrying around the Leica is a bit too much (and an SLR would be out of the question). Long live telemeter OVFs but also long live autofocus plus OVFs!
Now my gear is:
M9
M4-P
Summicron C 40mm
Elmar C 90mm
