Whoop Whoop! The camera fair is in town!
It is that time of year again. The time when everyone gets a little bit crazy and all of the most amazing items come to town. That is right, the ICS camera fair!

Yes, it is here again, the ICS camera fair is back. Some of you may remember what I went through last year to get the star item, and if you don’t then you should definitely click here and find out. Well, I shall be doing it all over again, and hopefully this year I shall have some help.
The ICS camera fair in Matsuya Ginza really is the highlight of the calendar for camera buyers around the world, and you will find many people coming from different countries to try and find that one special item that they have been looking for.
This years show should prove to be no exception. As you can see from the flyer, there are some really special items on show and there is going to be a lot of competition again. I shall be lacing up my boots to get the things that I am looking for. I have heard rumours of a few amazing items that will be available, but I am not at liberty to say what they are…Especially as my competitors read this.

This time the show will be held in the Matsuya Department store in Ginza on the 8th floor event space. The show will start from 10am, but I can absolutely guarantee you that if you are not there queueing at 5am then you are going to be missing all of the really really unusual stuff. It will be cold and maybe even wet, but that will not deter the hardcore few. I have learned my lesson, I will be bringing a folding chair and a Thermos full of hot sweet tea.

The show starts on the 20th of Feb and runs through to the 25th. Obviously the first day will be when all of the major items will be traded, but there will be plenty of things available for the people who are not completely bonkers, and there may be some bargains to be had. Prices at these shows tend to be negotiable, especially towards the final days. The show will run from 10am until 8pm on all days. There will be a special auction held on the 23rd and the 24th for the general public, though I should imagine it will be conducted in Japanese.
On Sunday and Monday there will be final day bargains too, with some items being put on sale, so if you are in town and want to pick up something this might be your chance.

As usual I will be there, doing my thing, buying and reporting for all of you lovely people. I hope to see you there too. If you are not going to be there but you want me to look for something for you then mail me and I can get you something special. After all, I am Japan Camera Hunter.
Thanks
