In your bag 340, Mike Choi
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends, I hope you have a lovely day with the people close to you. Today I present to you an nice simple bag, with the bare minimum inside. Just a purposeful set up. Come and have a look.

Here is my bag. It’s a mix of digital and film and each camera goes with an ongoing project.

The bag is a Billingham. I love it, the size, the feel, and the ruggedness. Inside I keep a Canon 5D mk II with a 50mm f1.4 for my street/fashion photography.

The Mamiya C330 medium format camera is for my photos of car profiles. I use Fuji Pro 400 film and scan my negatives with a Canon Canoscan 9000f.

I have started to carry around my older Panasonic GF1 for a new project I’m participating in called the 100 strangers project. The lens I am using is special in that it is my dad’s old Takumar 50mm f1.4. With the crop factor it is a 100mm lens which I think is great for portraits.

The last thing I always carry is business cards. They help greatly in disarming people when you approach them and ask if you can take a picture of them.

Keep up the good work and thanks

Mike
