In your bag 302, Joe Logan
Todays bag comes from a convert to film photography, and he has some lovely bits in his bag. Come and have a look at what Joe uses to shoot with.
My name is Joe, and I am an amateur photographer from Sydney, Australia.
I first got into photography approximately ten years ago, beginning with point and shoot digitals by manufacturers such as Casio and Canon.
I then started to shoot landscapes with DSLRs, including the Canon 350D, Canon 50D, Sony A700, and Sony A850.
Following this, I started to experiment with street photography, and got into Leica rangefinder equipment, and have so far owned a Leica M8 and Leica M9-P which I have shot with lenses including the Zeiss Planar 50mm f/2, Leica Summarit 35mm f/2.5, Leica Summicron 35mm f/2, and Leica Summilux 50mm f/1.4 ASPH.
However, I have now got rid of all of that gear, and have taken the leap into film photography. My current bag (Billingham Hadley Pro) contains:
1) Leica M7
2) Leica 50mm Summicron f/2 (shown with B+W 0.9 ND Filter, remember I am in Australia!)
3) Pentax ME Super with 50mm f/1.7
4) Zorki-4 Russian Rangefinder with Jupiter 8 50mm Lens Attached
5) Leica 135mm M-Hektor
6) Leather case for M7
Thanks for sharing your bag with us Joe. Great to see you made the switch from digital to film, I hope you are having a lot of fun.
I wish you had sent some links so that we could see your work.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.
Cheers
