In your bag number 245, Sam Sanchez
Hey all, a lovely bag from the Philippines today. This bag is a nice mix up of film and digital, so lets see what Sam keeps in his bag.

Ohhai!

I am Sam Sanchez, a student and photographer from Davao City. I hail from the Palm City of the Philippines, Tagum. I am currently a third year Communication Arts student in University of the Philippines Mindanao.

I have been making photos ever since I wore glasses when I was around 10 or 11. I shoot with a Nikon D3000 but I also use my first camera, an Olympus AF-1 Mini. For everyday shooting, I always use a AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D, but I also bring either a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di and AF-S DX Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6 VR when needed.

My bag, which is a black Adidas Deutscher Fussball-Bund bag (BTW I’m for die Nationalmannschaft always) I bought from Hong Kong two years ago, contains lots of paper stuff (a notebook, photo books, photocopies, and a yellow pad) aside from extra batteries, memory cards, camera peripherals, and film. When needed, I also bring my 13″ 2010 MacBook Pro – very important for production work and other academic stuff like academic papers, research work, readings, and the like.

I have a larger camera bag (a Capdase) for travelling and/or and a smaller Highland shoulder bag that I use when I shoot in tight places, just like in our school when there are events.

Currently I maintain a daily project called “Project3.1” at my website smsnch.posterous.com, where I shoot everyday of my academic life in UPMin. You can also contact me through that site, or if you want to know more about me.

Thanks for the bag and the netspeak Sam. Great to see people mixing the film and digital in their bags. Keep on shooting.
Check out Sam’s many many links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.

Cheers
