Jesse’s Visual Interviews: Giovanni Stimolo

It’s time again for the latest edition of Jesse’s Visual Interviews and we’re treated to the wonderfully layered and colorful responses from street photographer Giovanni Stimolo

Q1: Who are you?

Q2: What is your favorite way to waste money?

Q3: What do you consider the most underrated virtue?

Q4: When are you happiest?

Q5: What did your first kiss feel like?

Q6: Where is home?

Q7: Which body parts (yours or otherwise) do you feel the most affection for?

Q8: What is your favorite vice?

Q9: How do you define childhood?

Q10: What is your favorite time of day?

Q11: Who is your favorite person?

Q12: What is the most important thing in any relationship?

Thank you for your responses, Giovanni!

Giovanni’s work is street photography and I like that every response reflects that perfectly. The added compositional incorporation of color really then for me sets his work apart as I often find in the chaos of capturing the moment it is difficult to add color with any real meaning. Loved his response to question 2, where the blue of the balloon captures the eye and compositional offsets the man leaning in the ballon’s direction…which makes you wonder what he means in response to the question but you see the stack of books among the shadows for what would be my favorite way to waste money as well.
