Like previous Visual interviewee Avard, I have been a fan of Umberto on Flickr for some time and simply reached out to him for this interview. Like the film that shares his name, his photographic style shares the Italian neo-realist film spirit. It is straightforward black and white (for the most part) well thought out photography.
