In your bag No: 1505 – Kevin Clemente
Kevin brings us something short and sweet. A nice classic setup with a very Japanese feel to it, from the items contained to the layout. This one is a beauty. Check it out.
My name is Kevin and I’m a software consultant in the day but I shoot whenever I have time. Lately I’ve been trying to get more shots of people, it’s been difficult for me so I’ve been forcing myself to use primes so I’ll have to get in close.
Equipment wise there’s a Yashica Electro 35 I picked it up in Nagoya, the barrel is damaged and the glass is cracked when I came in from -14C to a room that was 24C in Hokkaido.
There’s an AE-1 with a 50mm F1.4, absolute bargain and incredibly reliable. I keep a Canon g16 when there’s something I want to upload later.
In terms of film I’m using a lot of Fujifilm. Velvia 50, Acros 100 and Superia Xtra 400.
I get moved around a lot for work so there’s always lots of opportunities to take photos. :)
Cheers,
Kevin
Thanks for sharing your bag with us, Kevin. I don’t suppose you have a website?
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com
Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.
Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers
