In your bag 1034, Joakim Fjeldli
Joakim was on the site nearly 500 bags ago. And now he is back, with some cooler bits and bobs. Check it out.
I’ve been featured on this before.
Since then, I’ve got cooler gadgets and a cooler bag.
My name is Joakim Fjeldli, 29 years old from Norway.
I work within the photographic equipment trade, but first and foremost I see myself as a photojournalist.
I’ve been doing that last part for 7 years.
In my bag, a dothebag mono_06 from monochrom.com, is a Sony A7 fitted with a Leica Summicron 35/2 (version 4), carried in an all black strap from Gordy’s Camera Straps, as well as an extra battery.
The next camera over (and slightly out of focus) is an old Canon AV-1 fitted with an FL 55mm f/1.2, which is truly a remarkable lens.
Other than that I carry an adapter to allow me to mount the 55mm to my A7, as well as a-Jays earplugs, a Moleskine notebook and business cards (from Moo.com).

Thanks!
Thanks for coming back and sharing your bag with us Joakim. Cool to see how things have changed.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal, 720px across is optimal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

Nice camera bag from Monochrom / Dothebag ;-)
Nice!! How do you like using the leica 35mm on the Sony? I’ve been considering doing something similar because I generally zone focus with my M2 anyway and don’t want to buy a digital leica. Maybe 24mp is too much for zone focus though, but looks like fun!
Luke: I love it. I love it more than using it on my M6 (which is kind of a wrong thing to say). The way you can see the bokeh render, and focus using the peaking function is just amazing. I use my A7 with several other lenses as well, such as old Nikon 85 1.4 lenses and the 55 1.2 Canon seen in the photo on the other body.
cool, sounds like i need to try one out!
