In your bag 907, Nick Brickett
Nick shares with us his very modern bag today. Come and have a look.
Hi JCH, love your website. I wanted to submit my most recent ‘In Your Bag’ shot taken yesterday to try out the new ‘Sakoos’ App for iOS (which incidentally I find quite a disappointment, it ruins the final image quality of the photo you take).
A little bit of background info: I’m a Staffordshire, UK Wedding, Portrait and Street Photographer. I’ve been shooting in a semi-pro and professional capacity for about 11 years now and haven’t found a genre of photography that I don’t love shooting. My most recent passion is Street, and the gear I have in my bag at the moment is the best setup I’ve used so far for this kind of work. I’m travelling to Italy this summer on honeymoon with my (by then)wife, and I really cannot wait to explore the streets of another foreign city after our short trip to Marrakech last summer. My blog holds my journey through this form of photography, as well as my informal photographic gear reviews.
Bag contents:
Sony A7, Fujifilm X100, iPad Mini Retina (with SD card adapter), Canon FD 24mm f2.8, Nikon 35mm f1.4 AI-S, Samyang 85mm f1.4 (Nikon-mount) and spare memory cards & batteries.
Cheers,
Nick
Thanks for sharing that Nick. very simple and cool.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers

I really like the bag. What brand is it?
what’s your bag? I like your bag btw
Hi guys, the bag is from a UK store called Debenhams. I’m not sure they still sell this exact back, but they do have similar styles. The inside is fitted with camera bag padding which I got from eBay.
