In your bag No: 526、Jasen Reyes
Who says I never feature digital bags? Here you go, a fully digital bag for you all. And a really fancy one it is too. Check it out.

I am a new follower and love looking at all the kits that all the followers have posted.  For many years, I have been the guy on travel that hauls the big Pro DSLRs with a full compliment of lenses.  About a year ago I had the opportunity to go to Australia and in an attempt to break the trend, I left the DSLR’s at home an took a Leica M9, Leica M6 TTL and Panasonic GF1.  It was difficult at first knowing that I did not have the flexibility of the DSLR’s and all the lenses but at the end of the day, I am so happy I forced myself to do it.

Fast forward to this month (a year later)… I am taking my first trip to Tokyo and I think I have my kit selected for the trip.  The following kit is what I have selected thus far.  Its a two body kit (I am on the fence on whether or not I am taking the M6 as a third body).  The kit is as follows:

–  Leica M9

–  Sony RX-1

–  (Not pictured – Leica M6 TTL)

–  M Mount Zeiss Sonnar 1.5

–  Leica 35mm 2.5 (Summarit)

–  Leica 24mm 2.8 Elmarit

–  Tenba Messenger bag.  I just picked up the ONA Union Street Messenger bag and I am considering swapping it out.

–  Leatherman Multi-tool

– Surefire LED flashlight

–  Tiffen filter holder with various ND filters and polarizers.

–  Thinktank SD card wallet

–  Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Tripod

–  (not pictured) Manfrotto table top tripod

–  Moleskine Notebook

–  iPad

Thanks for sharing your bag with us Jasen. I hope you did decide to bring your M6 to Tokyo.
Check out Jasen’s link and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.

Hi! I’d take the M6 too with 2-3 rolls of film, just in case your batteries die out.

Take extra batteries for sure. The M6 would be nice so that you can come back with some negatives of your trip. I have gone through a bunch of bags and not sure if I have found a perfect traveling bag for my trip to Europe this July. I am looking for a flexible bag for both camera and I Pad and passport, etc. Thanks for sharing.
