I recently became re-acquainted with the work of the London photographer Johnny Stiletto after reading a piece about him on the BBC website. Although little is known about the photographer, he does managed to capture some really interesting street images. He recently released a book called ‘Vintage 80’s:London street photography‘ which documents humorous and sometimes unsettling scenes of London during the decade of excess.
Stiletto’s website has more of his images with descriptions, yet it is still infuriatingly clear of details about the photographer himself. Only an e-mail address at the bottom gives us anything to try and trace the man who took these wonderful images.
Watch the video and see what you think.
Cheers
