In your bag 786, Benny Asrul
It is about time that Singapore represented. There has not been a bag from there for a while. But Benny has changed that with this lovely street shooters setup. Come and have a look.
My name is Benny Asrul, Indonesian living in Singapore. I love both street and landscape photography. Most of my works are black and white, as I can process the film myself at home. Sometimes, I shoot colors too, usually with positive films.
When traveling and taking street photos, I carry 2 bodies with 1 lens each, one for my bw films and the other for the color films. I-phone and a small note book are in the bag too, as I always write down when and where I take the photographs which help me a lot when I am managing the negatives later. My favorite lens is the 35mm which I use for most of my photographs, the other lens will be the 28mm.
I shoot films because it teaches me to be careful, think before press the shutter and I do enjoy the process too. Sometimes when I processed films I shot couple of months before, I had this “element of surprise” as I could just forget what I have shot before.
I love black and white photography simply because they’re very colorful.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
