MS Optics Hipolion 8-16/19 M mount

$775.00

With Christmas just around the corner jolly Uncle Miyazaki has decided to drop one last lens this year. And it is the thinnest lens you have ever seen.

Presenting the MS Optics Hipolion 8-16/19 Soft 2.8 – 5.6/18.5 which is a serious gobful of a name.

It is a fully RF coupled 19mm lens with a preferred aperture of f8 to 16. At f2.8 to f5.6 it would be considered a ‘soft’ lens. So soft in fact that it is a bit silly really. But that is not the point, the lens is designed to be shot mainly at f8 – f16.

Presenting the MS Optics Hipolion 8-16/19 Soft 2.8 – 5.6/18.5 which is a serious mouthful of a name.

It is a fully RF coupled 19mm lens with a preferred aperture of f8 to 16. At f2.8 to f5.6 it would be considered a ‘soft’ lens. And it is very soft at 2.8. But that is not the point, the lens is designed to be shot mainly at f8 – f16.

Based on the famed Goertz Hypergon lenses from the early 1900’s, this is a superwide and super petite lens. Weighing in at only 27g! That is an ounce for all you Americans.

At the moment we are in the process of translating the information sheet and more information will be coming soon. Please check the sample images for performance.
