Jesse’s Visual Interviews: Ahraun Chambliss

Start the weekend with some inspiration from Ahraun’s beautiful sequencing in this edition of Jesse’s Visual Interview

Q1: Who are you?

Q2: What is your favorite way to waste money?

Q3: What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Q4: When are you happiest?

Q5: What did your first kiss feel like?

Q6: Where is home?

Q7: Which body parts (yours or otherwise) do you feel the most affection for?

Q8: What is your favorite vice?

Q9: How do you define adulthood?

Q10: What is your favorite time of day?

Q11: Who is your favorite person?

Q12: What is the most important thing in any relationship?

Thank you for your responses, Ahraun!

Came across Ahraun’s work from an interview he did that a mutual friend shared. His pairings or rather collage-like use of photos I thought would make for a dynamic interview and you can see the variations in his responses! I like the effect of the gaze his responses to Q8 gives, while the play on the temporal in his response to Q4 contrasts well to the spatial play of Q9. With that he has been working with Allied Forces Press on a photo book he will release later this year. Check out his links for more photo pairings and information on his upcoming book release:
