Ooooh a super sexy bag today. I love classic Nikon and I love Domke bags, so this is perfect for me. A pair of F100’s, yum yum.

Hey Bellamy,

After many years as a working photographer, I am now retired and have re-discovered my love of B&W film. Here’s my kit.

As you will see, I’m a Domke guy too! This is a Domke F-2B. The F2 series is the most adaptable bag ever conceived and the ballistic cloth is bomb-proof. Never shows any wear. The two Nikon F100 bodies let me shoot two different emulsions if needed. The SB-28 Speedlights are era-appropriate, as is the SC-17 cord.

Lenses are the Nikon 35mm f/2 AF-D and 85mm f/1.4 AF-D. There’s damn little I can’t shoot with these two lenses. Sometimes I also carry a 50mm f/1.4 AF-D.

Used to own the now collectible 28mm f/1.4 AF-D which was a sexy thing along with the 85mm.

Other than cleaning cloths, flashlight, pen, etc. that’s pretty much it. Oh yeah, my homemade film canister contraption. Eight film containers are screwed end-to-end on an aluminum bar.

BTW: I carry an identical bag for digital with Nikon D700, SB800 and SC-29, 20-35mm AF-D and 80-200mm AF-D and 50mm f/1.4 AF-D.

Thanks for sharing your awesome back with us John, it is great to see the F100’s going strong. They are interesting cameras and I wish I had never sold mine.
