In your bag 296, Peter Mayer
A lovely bag today, with a fantastically rare Yasuhara camera inside. Oh and you can see JCH in the background, cool huh?

I would like to send my actual recent bag shot. I made it with my cellphone Sony Ericsson C 902  I made this photo on my project workers workplace in one of the Hamburg University campus computer rooms.

I work as a social worker in the psychiatric health field and I am member in a university work group about dialogic introspection (introspection in one-self) More about it on: (with english pages).

My favourite bag is a quite unobstrusive simple white messenger bag. It should not cry out for everyone: “Hello, I am a photo bag – and this lad, who carries me, is a street photographer”.

It contains a bottle of soda water (not on this photograph), my Canon QL 17 G III compact camera with 1,7 40 mm lens, an obviously terriffic one. The second camera is a very rare Yasuhara T 981 with Jupiter 8  2,0 50 mm lens. I took ist out of the shelves behind glass für my rare collectibles for street portraits and my Ricoh R 8 digital. The quality of the small Ricoh is really very good. Most photos on my flickr site are taken with it:

In film photography, I like to concentrate on two focal lenghts. Light wideangle with my Canon QL 17. It is really fast with convenient focussing and excellent view-rangefinder. The Yasu is for street-portraits. The depth sharpness of the 2,0 50 mm is really narrow. Focussing with its rangefinder needs extra training and experience.

I wait for the next fim, which is beeing processed.

Is there anybody, who has (similar) experience with this (extremely) rare camera.

with best wishes
Peter Mayer from Hamburg/Germany
