In your bag No: 1422, Mihaly Demeczky
Mihaly shares with us his really well laid out bag, and what a bag it is. That backpack looks awesome. And that is a whole lot of film too. Check it out.
Hey Guys,

So this is my bag.

It’s a Topo Mountain Pack, which was not easy to aquire, but with some help from a friend (a fellow photographer) I have managed to do so. I wanted to get it for a long time, and when my old backpack died, I knew it was time.
I’ve been using it for a bit more than a year now, as a daypack and as a travel pack as well. I’ve carried it around on foot and bike, hiked, skied, climbed with it. I mostly carry my analog set with this pack, so that’s what you’ll see here:

-Hasselblad 501CM
-Carl Zeiss 80mm CB T* f/2.8
-Carl Zeiss 50mm CF T* f/4 FLE
-Extra film back for the hassy
-Sekonic L-758D Lightmeter
-NC-2 45° Prism Viewfinder
-Cokin holder + filters (Polar, ND, Yellow for BW)
-Pack of rollfilm (I mostly shoot slide (provia100) and colour(portra)
-Release cable
-Kopil self-timer + extension (so that it doesn’t lean against the lens)
-Baron Fig – The Confidant notebook
-Copic multiliner 0,5mm
-Baladeo 37g zebrawood pocket knife
-Polarised sunglasses (tobacco filter-like colour)
-Handmade wallet (slowly falling apart)
-rMBP 15″ if needed

If it’s all in the bag, plus some water, it can be quite heavy for long hikes, but the backpack is always comfortable. I mainly work as a photographer and a retoucher, commercial mostly, perhaps that’s why I like to retreat to the analog world of the good old Hassy. If you like this one, maybe I’ll send in the digi photo set, and maybe even the digitech bag as well (I work as a DIT/capture assistant on commercial shoots sometimes).

Thanks for sharing your bag with us, Mihaly. I love the backpack, and the Hassy.
Check out the links and please come and comment.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on
Send me a high resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500px across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story. Snapshots of your gear with a camera phone and no words will not be featured.

Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
