In your bag No: 1317, Tim Heubeck
Tim is a serial offender, and he is back again with another great bag. And in honour of his support Tim gets the Christmas day spot! I hope that you all have a lovely holidays and may your camera bags be full of goodies.

Hi guys,

I have been featured here before but decided to submit my bag now since it has changed drastically and so did my photography. As a big fan of cameras there is just no way to only keep one… I live in Germany and work exclusively on book projects. That means all the photography is only meant to be put in books. So far, I have published three books and really enjoy the whole process.

My bag has been going through a lot of changes, the only constant variable is my Billingham bag.

Here is a list of what is in the bag (not all at once of course):

– Billingham Hadley Pro (with the shoulder pad)

– Leica M6 + Zeiss 50mm F2 + SF20 Flash

– Contax G1 + 28mm F2.8 + TLA140

– Mamiya 6 + 75mm F3.5

– Nikon D610 + 50mm F1.8 (not in the picture)

– Lightmeter with spot attachment

– Film Cases

– Notebook

– Fisherman’s Friend (keep it fresh)

– Watch

– Film, film and film!

For my projects I only shoot film and scan it with an Epson V800. The D610 is used for recording my YouTube videos and barely used for photography.

A while back I decided to focus on black and white photography and therefore sold all color film I had. Furthermore I really enjoy having a setup where you have one lens for each camera and therefore don’t have to decide which lens to choose. The cameras are totally different and every single one has it’s purpose.

The Leica M6 is one of my favorite film Leica’s made, especially considering the price point. The Contax G1 is quite cheap now and the lenses are just extraordinary. The Mamiya 6 is just a classic mf camera and still is very portable.

I really enjoy traveling and therefore I need compact cameras and also reliable one’s. Films I use: Kodak Tri X 400, Ilford FP4 and Ilford HP5.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on

Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story.

Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
