In your bag No: 1223, Ming Thein
Guess who’s back, Ming is back! And this time he brings the most epic of bags. And before you get all of a bother and start saying “but that is his collection, not his bag!”, this is his bag, his work bag for when he is doing workshops. Well, I say bag, it is more of a suitcase. Check it out.

Back for another round! This time, here’s the loadout for the Hanoi Cinematic Masterclass, in collaboration with Zeiss – they’ve loaned me a suitcase full of the best, and it would be a shame to a) not photograph it, and b) not make a cinematic shot of it. The final shot is just gratuitous lens p***. One set of lenses is mine, the others are loaners for the workshop participants to enjoy.

We have:

Thanks for coming back, Ming. Your bag shots are always gratuitous, of that there is no doubt! Good luck in Hanoi.
Check out the links and please make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on

Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story.

Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
