In your bag number 120, David Powell – aka ShootTokyo
Today we are very lucky to have the chance to glimpse inside Mr. ShootTokyo’s bag. I have been pushing him for months to get this bag and he finally succumbed. Come and see what the nice guy of photography keeps in his bag…

I am David Powell, aka ShootTokyo, a photographer and blogger from Tokyo, Japan. I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts but have resided in Japan for the past 11 years. I shoot a Leica M9-P but have recently started up with film with a Leica M3. I shoot these with a Noctilux 50mm f/0.95, Summilux 35mm f/1.4, and Summilux 21mm f/1.4. I typically head out with just one lens per camera but I also bring along my ND 4 Filters so I can shoot wide open and a ND 8 and 64 for the Noctilux. I carry an assortment of viewfinders, memory cards, lens cleaning paper and liquid and ShootTokyo business cards, buttons and stickers. I find the cards and stickers make it easy to approach people or work as a good leave behind. I recently picked up a table top Leica Tripod that works great and travels light. I stuff all of this in a medium size Billingham Bag.
