Andrew may keep his name simple, but his bag is not. It is a riot of creative tools. Check it out.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you Bellamy! I’m Andrew, currently still a student studying in Singapore and i do travel photography! Heres whats in my bag.

Greetings from Singapore! Happy 2015 to everyone!

You know how everyone says you should only carry light when you travel, i just can’t find the means to do so. I’m a hybrid travel photographer, who needs both mediums. Analog cameras for the tonality and dynamic range, especially for monochromes, and at the same time, i still love the muted look Portra gives for skins, that colour punch that Ektar brings out, hence my reduction in using Velvia50.
The reason why i carry so many different analog cameras is that each camera is equipped with a different film! My first SLR was the Canon AE-1 Program, and man was i hooked. I first started out with one and the FDn 24/2.8. It then got to an addiction that i couldn’t control, resulting in 3 AE-1Ps, 4 lenses! (24/2.8, 35/2.8, 50/1.4, 135/2.8) I’ve hence sold some of it away to fund for my next camera!

I’ve tried so hard to stay away from Fuji! Heads up for those who have yet to obtain one, STAY AWAY! Its POISONOUS, very very poisonous. The colours produced are insane (another reason why i don’t shoot Velvia 50 anymore). I mainly use it for timelapses and startrails. And when 400ASA wouldn’t cut it indoors! Since i’ve got it, I’ve only been shooting in Classic Chrome and Velvia.

It’s because of Fujifilm that i am not walking around with a M6 and “the bokeh king” 35 summicron. The Leica dream has yet again been postponed for another year at least.

Anyway, this was my recent setup for my travels in Myanmar.
