Hand made by artisans in Japan, Cura camera straps are of the very highest quality. If you want to have the best for your camera then you are looking in the right place.
The braided silk straps are woven using techniques handed down through a family business since the Taisho era (1912-1926), and dyed using traditional dyes and techniques. The way that the strap is woven means that despite it being very thin and light, it is extremely strong and flexible.
The rings on the straps are specially polished for over 20 hours so that they have no rough edges at all, making them kind to the fingers, yet extremely strong.
The straps come presented in a beautiful paulownia wood box, reminiscent of a different age of presentation. This strap is presented as a traditional craft. These are the most beautiful straps I have ever seen and I am very happy to be able to sell them.
They come in 3 different dye colours:
Black with red accents.
Red with cream accents.
Black with gold accents.
The strap is 90cm long and designed to fit on ring type lugs commonly found on Rangefinder cameras.
Please be aware as these are hand made and hand dyed, the dye may run slightly when wet and transfer. The leather will also discolour over time to a darker brown. This is natural.
