Get Featured: Sasha Zemliakov
Sasha shares his work from rural Ukraine. A lovely and personal project with few words.

My name is Sasha Zemliakov and I’m a student living near Milan, I’m 17 and I became interested in shooting film circa two years ago.

I really enjoy your website and all the stories that are published so for the first time I decided to share a photo series with a web magazine.

I shot this photos in my hometown called Novoselitza, an unknown city in western Ukraine.

In fact this summer I went as usual to my grandmas home to spend a few weeks in the house where I grew up.

We are really attached as she raised me when my parents went to Italy so I wanted to document her life and her daily routine faced with the difficulties of living alone

To see my other film work you can check out my Flickr:

The photos were shoot with a Leica M2 + Summaron 3.5 on HP5 and Kodak Gold 400

Thanks!

Great work Sasha. Although 1 image can tell a hell of a lot. I always find a series of images work the best.

    Thanks for sharing. :)
