In your bag No: 1230, Steele McWilliams
Steele has a cool name and a cool attitude. He really keeps it simple with getup, just the basics for a day of shooting the streets of Melbourne. Check it out.

Hello, my name is Steele McWilliams and I’m from Melbourne, Australia.
I purchased the Crumpler Pleasure Dome (Small) as its a perfect size to carry my Bessa R2M & Colour Skopar 35mm 2.5 II lens and a few other small items.

I usually carry two extra rolls of Portra 400 or HP5, along with a cleaning cloth and earphones.
This combination is just small enough for me to carry without noticing and is great for when I am walking around all day as it doesn’t hurt my shoulder or back.

The hat is also present as I wear it every day I go shoot and part of my “gear” when I’m out.
I mainly shoot street photography and if you’d like to see any of that, you can find my work at:

Thanks for sharing your bag with us, Steele. I love the simplicity.
Check out the links and please make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com.

Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story.

Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.

Cheers

Hey McWilliams, whats with the tape over the light meter? Inquiring minds want to know!

Love the patch on your hat!

Pierce: The piece of tape is to make the rangefinder patch appear brighter

@Pierce That’s not for the meter, but as Evan said, for the RF patch.

Also, I love this post. It’s one of the few ones that is ‘real’. The rest of the posts are just guys trying to show off their collection of cameras.

One camera, a few rolls of film, one lens, a cleaning cloth…. Zen.
