In your bag No: 1187, Franck Capello
Frank doesn’t really say much, he kind of lets his bag do the talking. And what a bag. Just….wow. I cannot beleive he carries this lot around the streets of Paris. Total dedication.

Francky Capello from Paris, urban street photographer,

my actual street project use 4×5 large format stuff : Linhof Technika IV with Nikkor SW 90 f4.5, Schneider Symmar S 150 f 5.6 and Rodenstock Apo Ronnar 240 f 9, Manfrotto 055 carbon tripod, and Gitzo.

An hasselblad 500CM and Zeiss Distagon 50 f4 CF FLE handheld.

In digital my tiny Sony RX1 never leave my bag, for more, i use my Canon 5DII with a 24-104 L IS USM f4, the IQ is the same with those 2 cams but i prefer the Sony35 f2 Zeiss sonnar fingerprint.

I’m a gear addict, for 20 years i’ve been using Leica M, R, Contax G, Fuji, all the Canon D from early 2000´s D60 to 5D mk II.

Thanks for sharing your bag, Frank. Shame there are no links, we would all love to see how you put this set to use.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on

Send me a hi resolution image of the bag. Optimum size is 1500 across. Please ensure there is a bag in the shot, unless you don’t use one. The more you can write about yourself the better, make it appealing and tell us a story.

Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.

I just came on the non-existing links

Then perhaps you would be kind enough to share them with us, rather than pointing out that you found them.

This is “In your bag” not “In your Tumblr”
but bellamy that would be a nice feature :-)

I call BS on this one too!

There is NO WAY you carry around all of this stuff in that small backpack. COMPLETELY 100% NO WAY. 2 Tripods, a 4×5 field camera, a Hassy and a 5Dmkii in one small backback. Amazingly untrue.

Why can’t people just post what’s only* in their bag? It’s called “In your Bag”, not “in your House”.

@Bellamy – You might as well start another series called “Camera Collections” so people can be honest.

And just a follow up, why in the world carry a box of 4×5 film with you? You’ve got no dark bag and you can’t change your film…

@T-Bone well obviously he carries the larger tripod with a camera on it with his hands. I understand your critique that this is called “in your bag” but your bag is carried with shoulders. And connected to those shoulders are your hands. So I wont nitpick and call it “amazingly untrue”

It doesn’t matter. I’ll give you both tripods.

    It’s still* amazingly untrue.
