In your bag 1095, Randy Cords
If you like Fuji then Randy has the bag for you. Check out this sweet setup.

I have been very glad to see a lot of Fujifilm cameras recently in your ”In My Bag” features.  This has prompted me to send in my Fuji Bag that I took on a trip to Alaska for summer solstice.

I’m Randy Cords from Orange County California.  At 58 years old, I have re-connected with photography.  I was always the family documenter, but never really worried about learning photography.   Now I’m old and can take the time to learn photography and call it a hobby.

I like taking photos at events that I go to in Southern California; whether it be street fairs, car shows, or just going to the beach.

My Bag….

Chrome Metropolitan messenger bag, with a Timbuk2 Snoop Camera inset.  This Chrome bag has been my travel carry for 10+ years and has held up great.  The insert is very versatile and holds a ton.  It’s real solid when I’m on my motorcycle.

Contents…

Fujifilm X-E1 Camera, with Nikkor 24mm f/2 and tilt X mount adapter.  Hand Grip / Quick Release L Plate Bracket Set.  I love having all the controls like a film camera.  The aperture control should always be on the lens.

Fujifilm XF 18 mm f/2 lens.

Wired remote / interval timer.  Spare battery and SD cards.

Fujifilm EF-X20 Shoe Mount Flash.  I like that it can be used as an off camera slave, triggered by the X-E1’s built in flash.

Fujifilm TX-1 Panoramic 35 mm Film Camera, with 45mm f/4 lens. These lenses are fantastic.  I love the stretch format for landscape or street.

And a TX-1 90mm f/4 lens also with an X mount adapter for using on the X-E1, where it makes a great portrait lens.

Manual cable remote, and of course a JCH Film Case filled with various color negative film.

A Sunwayman V11R flashlight for finding my way in the dark. But it never really got dark when I was in Anchorage.

Fujifilm XP point and shoot camera – which I mainly use for under water in the pool shots.

Mefoto Globetrotter Travel Tripod.  16 inches folded, and stable for shooting at night.

And my X-games 10 ball cap.  Lens pen and cleaning cloths are still in the bag.

Thanks for sharing your bag with us, Randy. Oh man, I miss my old TX-1. I may need to get another.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers
