In your bag No: 904 – Jan-Christof Schultchen

Jan doesn’t tell us much about himself, instead letting these awesome bags do the talking. Check them out.

Here is my bag – if you like:
It´s my bag for ”Joyrides”.  The Rolleiflex with it´s one Lens is my workhorse for art-photography.
Whenever I can I grab this small bag. The handling of the Rollei is fun and the image-quality is unsurpassed.
It has a ”Planglas”: The film is held flat by an optical glass. I use EKTAR 100 which I scan.
The other cameras are just for ”one never knows”.

Here´s my Toolbox for jobs – not very emotional but versatile.
I shoot architecture and portraits. I refused very long to use digital cameras.
But today the Canon-Pictures feel like my former medium-format-pictures.
To be honest: I am quite happy with this camera ( despite the ugly design…).

Thanks for these superb bags, Jan-Christof. Very cool gear you have there.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.
Cheers
