In your bag 829, Kayus Mulia
It is about time we had a Rollei in someones bag, as I do love them. This one is a stunner too. Check it out.

Hallo Bellamy,
just found your site through some Indonesian friends of mine (Guna Dwi #775, Benny Asrul #786 to mention just a few).
I think I might just join the fun and see what you think of my bag.

About myself:
I’m a professional photographer with the passion of analog BW which I develop myself. In my travels I shoot color just for documentary purposes (usually I borrowed my wife’s compact digital camera!).

Even though I used to use the latest digital back on MF cameras in my studio, for my own “serious stuff” I only shoot BW analog (film), never did (color/bw) digital for myself.

I’ve been through my Linhof period (went to Tibet with it) , through Hasselblad period (Europe etc) and now I’m down to just a Rolleiflex, which I plan to take with me on my next China trip (planned).

I try to challenge myself with minimal equipment (One camera, one lens, one film like we’ve been told ‘in the old days’) and see what I can do with it.

I never liked 35mm and my latest attempt on 35 was with a Leica MP and a 35mm asph lens (supposedly the ideal combo!). After 4 years with no good results, I sold it and bought a Rolleiflex on ebay! Now I’m a happy man! :-D

My bag: KATA DB 453

Camera: Rolleiflex 2.8E with an Arca type quick shoe

Digital compact (my wife’s!): Leica D-Lux5

Filters:  Yellow, Orange (52mm with adapter), B+W 110ND, 6 & 9 NDG.

Black card: For time exposure to prevent camera shake

Lightmeter: Pentax digital spotmeter

Cable release: Nikon R3

Minitripod: Slik

Stopwatch to time exposure (prefer analog to digital)

Flashlight, SAK, Pen, notebook

Rubberbands (in case the paper on the film get lost!)

Coin: To attach / detach quick shoe from camera

Lens cleaning paper

Film: Whatever is available, Acros, Tri-X or TMY

Outside the bag: Tripod: Gitzo G1228 with Arca Swiss B1 Monoball

Happy through sharing!

Thanks for being part of the crew, Kayus. It is great to see your lovely bag.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.

Cheers
Japancamerahunter

Looked at the Pictures at your flickr account, like some of them very much! I find your appproach of one camera, one lens and one film is excellent, thus I am not able to follow it :-)

@Roberto: Can’t agree more! I always keep going back to 6×6 format. Thanks for stopping by!

@Alex T: Thanks for nice comment. As you can see I’m from the old school, try to keep things simple, “KISS!” as they used to tell us in school. Best regards.
