In your bag 706, Steve from Cologne
This bag is loaded, really loaded. Sometimes I am amazed by what people carry around, but then I realise, I used to do that too. Come and have a look at what Steve has got.

Hiya Mr Bellamy Hunt, I am Steve, living in Cologne,Germany (Photokinas home) ;)

First to say I love your Website and the stuff you do, very informatic and a paradise for gear addicted people :D
I work as a Clerk at a big Transport Company, in my freetime i like to Photograph, for approx 1 3/4 year now, so i am still a bloody beginner.

I often read that you should concetrate on a field to be better and to learn your style. But i think i would feel a bit restricted if I do not try out as much as I can, so I hope to learn enough without restricting me.

So shoot a lot Landscape,street,macro,HDR..
No portraits at the moment.. but maybe someday I will get some practice there also ^^

Anyway , here is my bag :)

I got a low cost messenger bag from my local Army shop , very cheap but keeps my stuff secure from rain.. maybe I will get a inlay for the cameras for some additional protection.

Well inside my bag I got a Canon 600D (my starter cam) with a 24-70mm f2.8 II attached.

Then I got a Tokina 11-16 f2.8 lense (for the landscape stuff)

an Sigma 105mm f2.8 for Macro stuff  its wonderfull sharp, (ok the auto focus sucks, but well who needs it ) :)

a nice littel nifty fifty Canon 50mm f1.8 II (great lense, but you already know this)

a Canon 90-300mm f4.5-5,6 got this from a friend for some bucks

Lense cleaner and air ball thingy (not sure how its called)

then we have a Hoya NDx1000 filter for some daylight long exposure stuff

a Yonuga Speedlight YN560 II flash for the Canon.. love this one.. but I am still at the beginning for using flashes

Then we got a Cullmann Carbon fiber 525c Tripod.. very steady .. maybe a bit to big for my trekking stuff.. I want to get a traveller version soon

Ok then I got my second camera the Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55mm kit lense.

Wonderfull camera, I love the style and the performance of this little thing.

I plan to get the new Fuji 23mm f 1.4 lense in the next couple of months for this one.

I also got a Siocore Adaptor Canon mount to X mount thing , to use my other lenses on the fuji.. ( not as often as i should i think)

There are also a Easc Acc battery pack for my phone

The Google Nexus (good phone, but shitty camera and weak power)

Last but not least I got a Lomo LC-A+ Russian Day edition for some film stuff and “Fritz the Blitz” Flash.. still not used yet. :(

For the Lomo i use Lomography Color negative film 35mm Iso 400 and Lomography Black & White Earl Grey negative film Iso 100

addtional I got some old films as a present from a lovely old friend.

Fujifilm Superia Iso 200 and Kodak Farbwelt Classik Iso 200 (not tested yet).

hm as I look over this, I could admit I am really a bit gear addicted lol..
anyway.. hope you find it interesting.

Thanks for sharing that Steve, I really appreciate the work you put into this. Keep on shooting and keep up the passion.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here. Please understand that there is a long wait now as there is a backlog of submissions. Not all make the cut, so make sure yours is funny/interesting/quirky. And please make sure the shot is of good quality, as the ones that are not do not go up.

Cheers
