In your bag No: 599, Sandrixx Alessandro
Sandrixx is here! And he has a very thoughtful bag for us today. Not just cameras, but books and notebooks too. Come and see what Sandrixx shoots on the streets of Manila.

Mabuhay!

My name is Sandrixx Alessandro and I’m from the Philippines. I started doing StreetPhotography in Saudia Arabia way back…I’m currently in Manila.
I’m trying to learn more about Docu/Photojournalism and if given the chance I will do it 101%. I ALWAYS bring my camera so my current gear of choice wherever I may roam is my Canon 7D/ 24-70L lens. It’s a little heavy but it’s fine..

In my Tenba bag are the following:

Canon 7D/24-70L lens

My black notebook

Pen

Extra shirt

My current fave book(bookworm mode)

A souvenir photo taken here..

A water bottle

Flashlight

Masareal( local delicacy here in Cebu, my current location),,heheh

My baller/wrist band

A wristwatch

My very old and lucky wallet

Not shown are:

Zippo lighter

A pack of Winston(Stop Smoking!!)

Iphone 4s and charger

I have a few cameras at home:

A very Near Mint Leica M4-P( I got this from JCH, hehe) w/ Voigt 35mm lens (they are currently for sale though…)

Contax T2

Yashica GTN

Yashica MG-1

Nikon FA

Villa Lomo

Olympus Instamatic

Making realtime photos is something that I want to do.., and someday follow the gods…..  James Nachtwey and Kevin Sites.
my photos are posted here:

I thank you very much bro Bellamy for this chance..,,
take care and Stay-A-Shooter always….

Thanks for sharing your bag with us Sandrixx. I was hoping we would see the M4-P though.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.

Cheers

“I have a few cameras at home:” this sentence is a revelation to me. So many contributors show a bag with half a dozen cameras in every format pretending that they carry them all at once. Anyone that actually did so would need a wheelbarrow to carry it all.

I love that 24-70/2.8L I had the pleasure to borrow and use one for an event about 8 years ago. Like you, I was using a cropped frame camera, a 400D. I bet it would be even better on a full frame camera.

I know right? Unless you’re a professional doing work, or REALLY out to work on something personal, I can’t imagine carrying more than 1 camera and 1 lens (and maybe 1 spare lens if I was a little more than serious) going out personally. And to bring it with “every day stuff”. GEEZ. I just bring a wallet, my mobile phone in my front pockets, and my camera slung over my shoulder. THAT’S IT.
