In your bag No: 494 – Rob Mckay

In your bag 494, Rob Mckay
Rob brings us a bag for all the Leica fans out there. 3 great cameras and beautifully presented too. Come and have a look.

I check your site every day to see the interesting camera bag shots and decided I should send in my Leica bag.

I love shooting film, 35mm, medium and large format but when trying to travel light I like this setup. Although I usually would only take one or two bodies I some times get carried away..

I have shot lots of wildlife in the past with long DSLR equipment but over the last few years I have turned to Leica and have unloaded all my Nikon stuff.  :P

The bag is some generic bag I picked up off ebay. Its well built and has non of the dreaded velcro (I hate veloco, it make so much noise!) on it and has lots of space.

Leica MP wearing a 28mm ASPH Elmarit

Leica M9 wearing a 35mm ASPH Summicron

Leoca M3 single stroke wearing a 50mm collapsable Summicron

Voigtlander 35mm Nokton II f/1.2 lens just in case I need some serious bokeh

Sekonic light meter

Film is Tmax, Neopan, Acros, some Fomapan and will try out some of the Profoto XL soon.

A few 39mm ND filters and a red filter.

Thank you for adding my bag to an impressive collection.

Thanks for sharing your bag with us Rob. Loving that M3 with the classic summicron, great stuff.
Check out the links and make sure you come and comment.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.

Cheers

With all the cameras, batteries, film, lenses; that bag must be as heavy as a small large format kit. Looking forward to seeing your other bags too.
Cheers
