In your bag 483, Raul Palma
A little bit late, but we got there. Raul brings us a very nice couple of bags. And Some pics too. Some of them as NSFW, you have been warned.

Hi everyone!  My name is Raul and I just moved to Miami, FL, a Latin country very near the US, from good old hustle Los Angeles.  I am originally from Argentina and an immigrant since 1985.  I work in TV Production for over 20 years, in some form or another I am always involved with images…

I have been in love with images from an early age.  My first love was moving images, film making, and I started collecting and using movie cameras from Super 8 to 16mm.  Now I discovered my new passion for still photography and I am completely consumed by it.  I am a very mediocre photographer but love the process of taking pictures and trying to tell a story or a feeling in one image.

I just finished making a Mickey Mouse darkroom at my house and I am super excited and will try to expand my knowledge of printing.

Photography is my way of dealing with a wife, two daughters, and a crazy boss .

Since I started getting into photography I have gather a very nice an eclectic collection of cameras from toy to medium format.  I wished I had more time to shoot and print, I need to make it a routine but this thing about making a living and paying bills gets in the way. I have not found my voice in photography yet, I love street photography as well as doing nudes, I am still learning and experimenting with this medium.

I really like the analog process, look and feel.  I do have a nice digital set up but I hardly use it.

You will also see that I only have one Leica lens for my M3 and M6.  I am looking for a good opportunity to get some great Leica glass without the wife noticing it, if she does, I will have to get one of those nasty turquoise little boxes from Tiffany that women love so much!

Here is the list of the equipment I try to use.  Most of the time I just carry my Leicas as seen in the picture.

·         ONA The Brixton Camera Messenger Bag

·         Leica M3 / Canon 50mm f1.4

·         Leica M6 / Canon 35mm  f2.8

·         Leica Elmarit 90mm f2.8

·         Hasselblad 500C/M with Polaroid back / Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f2.8

·         Hasselblad 6×6 A12 Roll Film Back

·         Ricoh Diacord TLR

·         Holga 120 CFN Orange

·         Holga Wide Pinhole

·         Olympus XA3

·         Smena7

·         Lomo LCA with Polaroid Mini back

·         Lomo LCA

·         Minolta XL 601 Super 8 camera

·         Harinezumi 2++ video camera

·         SEKONIC Zoom Master L-508

Thanks for sharing your bags and your images with us Raul. Shame you didn’t add any links, as then we would be able to see more of your work. Please let us know if you have any.

Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. The Canon 50mm 1,4 is actually MUCH better that Leica optics of the sam period. Don`t lose that! I have also the Canon 50mm 1,2 that is great for portraits: it gives the softness and dark borders without even trying at 1,4 to f:2 …!
