New Dodge and Burn T-shirts
As some of you might recall I did a piece about Dodge and Burn T-shirts a few months back. Well now they have a new range out and I got my hands on a couple of them. And I have to say, I like them…a lot.
Ted Rybakowski over at Dodge and Burn has been busying himself over the last few months. Buoyed by the success of the last range of T-shirts he has knocked together another addition to his line up of great classic camera T-shirts for us all. I really liked the last series of T-shirts and I wear them often. They have cool classic designs and they are high quality too, so they are not going to fade after a couple of cycles in the washer.
The lastest addition to the range is the Evolution TLR shirt, which shows a 9 stage evolution (or creation, whatever floats your boat) of how the TLR developed into the cameras that we are familiar with today. Now this is ultra-nerd stuff and most people would not really get it. But if you are wearing one of these and a fellow camera lover sees it they are instantly going to know that you are a kindred spirit.
The detail on the shirts is fantastic and as you can see there is a little list too. So it is a bit of a history lesson as well as a funky T-shirt. I got one of these and I am loving it. I wore it on my recent trip to Manila and a couple of people remarked on it. That is a pretty good feeling.
Ted was also cool enough to send me a ‘V-squared’ shirt, which is groovy too. Those classic Voigtlander cameras are gorgeous and now I get to wear one, even though I don’t have one.
All of the shirts are hand printed in New York and they feel really comfortable. Sometimes you get T-shirts and they feel a bit scratchy or like they are going to fall apart, but these feel great. I am happy to wear these. They are a welcome addition to my growing collection of photography themed T-shirts. Soon all I am going to be wearing is camera based stuff. Talk about a photography life.
