In your bag number 168, Tim Allen
Check out todays bag, cool huh? It is a bag on a chair, and it looks great. This one is a completely digital bag, but let that put you off, it is still awesome…
I always enjoy seeing what other people have in their bags so I thought I’d join in too. I used to shoot with a 5D Mk1 but then moved on to an Olympus Pen which I liked for it’s small size and low weight but due to it’s poor ISO performance I’ve now settled on the Fuji X100 which I love. A big benefit is that I can now go out all day with a small bag and hardly any weight to lug around. The bag you see is a small shoulder bag from M&S that I think is intended for fishing but it’s ideal for my gear. I’ve made a foam insert for it that divides the inside in two and I don’t miss a bulky camera bag at all.
So, inside the bag is my X100 with JJC hood fitted and pinch lens cap (the strap is from eBay) and I have 2 spare batteries. I have an LX3 as a backup should I ever need it and spare SD cards that work in both cameras. The black cloth is from my iPad and the LensPen is a great little gadget to keep with me. Then it’s just a London street map, tube map, some printed notes on photographer’s rights and a sealable plastic bag in case I get caught in the rain and need to put the cameras in something watertight. Apart from my iPhone and keys in my pocket this is all I take on a day out for shooting street photography.
Thanks for sharing your bag shot Tim, very nice to see someone happily shooting the Fuji. Check out Tim’s links and make sure you comment on this lovely bag.
