In your bag number 112, A.B Watson
Never let it be said that JCH is lazy…another day comes and we have another bag for you to see. This time it comes from NZ, which is a lovely place to be. So, lets see what A.B keeps in his bag…
In order from top across
1# Leica M6 Classic, Voigtlander 35mm 1.4 lens with yellow B+W filter
2# Photos (To show people I’m a street photographer if things get confrontational)
3# Moleskine (To take notes, or draw font designs)
4# Bic Pen
5# Wallet with money clip
6# Four rolls of Kodak 400TX
7# iPhone 4s
8# Takeo Kikuchi (Bag I got when I visited Japan)
This is the most I’d ever take when going out to do some street photos. But on a normal day I like to travel light.
So I just bring my Leica, wallet, iPhone, keys and three rolls of film max, to stop me burning film. No bag so I can more
more easily among the crowds. So I’d just stuff my pockets full of film.
I work as a graphic designer to help my passion for street photography. I live in New Zealand and am based in Auckland city. I mainly take photos up the main streets of the CBD. At the end of my days I develop all my film at home and scan it as well, to put up on my websites. You can find my work linked below.
Thanks A.B for showing us your lovely bag, despite the fact that usually don’t use it. Well laid out and composed. Auckland is a city that I lived in once and would love to visit again.
Keep them coming folks, we need more submissions, so get your bag on Japancamerahunter.com. Send me a hi resolution image of the bag (please make sure it is horizontal) and its contents, with some details about yourself and what you shoot. Oh and don’t forget your contact details (twitter, flickr, tumbler et al). Send the bag shots here.
